To align with standard data retention practices and maintain system efficiency, Zeplin may delete inactive projects and styleguides after extended periods of inactivity.

When project and styleguide data may be deleted

Zeplin periodically deletes projects and styleguides that have not been accessed or updated for extended periods. Specifically:

  • Cancelled workspaces and their projects/styleguides may be deleted if:

    • The workspace has been cancelled for more than 2 years.

  • Free plan projects and styleguides may be deleted if all of the following are true:

    • The project or styleguide has not been updated in over 2 years.

    • The owner has been inactive for more than 2 years.

    • All other members have also been inactive for more than 2 years.

๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ If youโ€™re actively using your free Zeplin account, or you have an active subscription, your projects or styleguides will not be deleted under this policy.

How do I prevent deletion

To keep your data from being deleted, simply log in to your Zeplin account. This activity resets the inactivity timer and ensures your projects and styleguides remain safe.
