💁‍♀️ We’ve built a new, modernized Zeplin plugin for Photoshop, and you can now find and install it directly from the Plugins section in Adobe Creative Cloud. You don’t need to set up a proxy to use the new plugin!

If you're behind a proxy and want to use Zeplin's Photoshop Legacy plugin, you may experience some issues and see error messages such as:

  • "Fetching projects failed"

  • "Server cannot be reached. Upload this one to the cloud"

  • "Zeplin couldn’t upload this one to the cloud"

To solve any connectivity issues, open a text editor, and enter the following lines as necessary:

HTTP_PROXY=http://your proxy address
PROXY_USER=your username (This line is optional.)
PROXY_PASS=your password (This line is optional.)

Name the file plugin.env and save it to C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2024/Plug-ins/Generator/io.zeplin.photoshop-plugin. Then, restart Photoshop.

☝️ Photoshop directory name might be different depending on the version you're using.
