When you're reviewing a flow, and you have some comments, a question about the flow, or just like to leave feedback, you can use the Comments feature on your flow canvas.
โ๏ธ The main difference between labels and comments is that labels are used mainly for documentation, but comments are used for feedback, questions, etc.
You can add a comment by pressing Cmd + Clicking (Ctrl for Windows and Linux users) anywhere on the flow canvas or by using the + button on the bottom right of the flow canvas:
The comments on the Flows tab work exactly the same as in the screen detail. You can add visual elements, use Markdown-formatted text, organize them using colors, or so. It's also possible to view/hide comments with the ๐ต button at the bottom right of the flow canvas and filter them by their colors or status (open/mentioned/resolved.) ๐โโ๏ธ You can make a comment stick to a screen by creating a comment on the desired screen or by dragging a comment on the flow canvas onto the desired screen.
When to add a comment on a screen vs. a flow?
In Zeplin, you can add comments on either an individual screen or a flow. We'd recommend following this simple principle:
If your question or feedback is about an element or behavior within a screen, then add the comment on the screen, not the flow.
If your question or feedback is about the user journey itself, for example, how a screen connects to another screen, then add the comment on the flow.
