You can use Comments to ask your teammates questions or share your feedback on the design. By resolving the comments on your screen, you can eventually close them. You and your teammates are welcome to have a two-way conversation!

Adding comments

You can add a comment by pressing Cmd + Clicking (Ctrl for Windows and Linux users) anywhere on the screen or on the flows canvas. You can also use the "Add comment” button at the bottom. If you mention other teammates with “@”, they will receive a notification.

To resolve, edit, delete, or add a reaction to a comment, hover over the comment — you’ll then see all these options.

☝️ It’s not possible to recover deleted comments.

Adding images to comments

Whether you want to jot down some inspiration for yourself or pass on comments to a product manager or engineer, you can attach images to comment to share screenshots, GIFs for animations, or any other visuals you'd like.

You can also add visual elements, use Markdown-formatted text, organize them using colors, and so on. Check out the related articles below to learn more!

💁‍♀️ You can access your Figma prototypes directly within Zeplin by adding their links to comments. Learn more.

Adding reactions to comments

You can add reactions to comments by using the "Add reaction" icon revealed when you hover over the comment. Clicking on an existing reaction will remove it.

Version reference for comments

You'll also see a version label near the name of the person who added that comment. This label refers to the version to which that comment was added. Clicking on it will direct you to the target version. This way, you'll easily understand if a screen is updated after a comment was added.
