Zeplin is required to collect sales tax (Section 7. Payments and Subscription in our Terms) from users located in the US to comply with global tax regulations.

As of October 11, 2023, we started calculating sales tax based on your billing addresses. It currently applies sales tax if you're located in NY, MA, AL, CT, IN, KY, or TN.

You can always update your billing address if youโ€™re the Owner or an Admin of your workspace. Learn more here.

โ˜๏ธ The prices displayed on Zeplin's pricing page do not include sales tax.

I am not located in the US, but I still see sales tax applied to my invoice. What should I do?

Zeplin collects sales tax based on your billing address. Make sure that your billing information is up-to-date by checking the information on your Billing page.

I received an email saying my address is incomplete. Where can I update?

As of October 11, 2023, we started to use your billing address to calculate the sales tax accurately. That's why your billing details need to be up-to-date.

You can update your address on file from the Billing page of your workspace.

My company is tax-exempt. Where can I send the documents?

If your company is tax-exempt, you can message us at support@zeplin.io with your valid exemption documentation.
