đ Great news! Zeplin recently rebuilt the Adobe XD integration from the ground up to fix critical performance issues and support cloud documents. You can give the new Zeplin Adobe XD plugin a try by following the details here.
Zeplin automatically fetches all the colors of an Adobe XD document when you publish any artboard or component in it.
âď¸ If youâre using the previous legacy plugin, make sure that the file is saved locally before publishing. Due to a technical limitation, it is not possible to publish files saved on Adobe cloud.
Adding suggested colors
These colors will be suggested under the Color Palette section in your styleguide. You can either add them all using the âAdd Allâ button or click separately on the ones you want to add individually.
Ignoring and resetting suggested colors
If you ignore suggested colors by clicking âIgnore these colorsâ, Zeplin doesn't show these colors again on your next export, to not bug you all the time.
To reset this, open up a project or styleguide and select âHelp > Reset Suggested Colorsâ from the menu up top.
Naming and formatting colors
When you publish colors from XD, the names and formats of these colors in Zeplin will match the way your colors are named and formatted in XD. You can learn how to edit color names here and formats here.
