In order to publish your designs from Figma you will need to:

1. Run the plugin

3. Create a project (if you haven't been invited to one)

You will be prompted to connect your Zeplin account to the Figma plugin; then you can create a project.

* You can register or log in to Zeplin using your Figma login credentials. To successfully export from the Figma plugin, you will need to verify the email address of your Zeplin account.

Once connected, you can export as many frames or components as you’d like in Zeplin—notice the plugin displays how many you have selected. Read more here.

Publishing your designs from Figma

Right-click on the canvas and select “Plugins” from the menu and “Zeplin”.

☝️ You can also open the Resources menu (⇧ I), click Plugins, search for Zeplin, and then click Run to launch the Zeplin plugin.

Then, you can select the frames and components you want to publish and press “Export”.

Zeplin will take a few seconds to prepare the frames, and you will be asked to select a project to publish them to.

When your frames and components are published, you can easily re-export any new changes into Zeplin without having to select the project again.
