Zeplin uses a reserved tag group named "Approval Status" to help you identify and filter the screens based on their approval requests.

💁‍♀️ Approval Status tag group will be created only if you use Screen Approvals in your project. Check out this article for more details.

Screens will be tagged as:

  • Pending: When an approval request is created

  • Changes Requested: When the approver requested changes

  • Reviewed: When the approver reviewed designs

  • Approved: When all the pending requests for screens are approved, the "Pending" tag will be removed, and screens will be tagged as "Approved".

This works the same way when a new approval is requested for previously approved screens. The screens’ tag will switch back to "Pending".

If you delete all the approval requests from a screen, the assigned "Approved" or "Pending" tag will also be removed automatically from the screen.

☝️ It’s not possible to manually create a tag group named "Approval Status" since Zeplin reserves this tag for Screen Approvals.
