Zeplin uses a reserved tag group named “Approval Status” to help you identify and filter the screens based on their approval requests.

💁‍♀️ Approval Status tag group will be created only if you use Screen Approvals in your project. Check out this article for more details.

When an approval request is created, the screen will automatically be tagged as “Pending”.

Once all the pending requests are approved for the screen, the “Pending” tag will be removed, and the screen will be tagged as “Approved”.

This works the same when a new approval is requested for a previously approved screen. The tag of the screen will switch back to “Pending”.

If you delete all the approval requests from a screen, the assigned "Approved" or "Pending" tag will also be removed automatically.

☝️ It’s not possible to create a tag group named “Approval Status” since Zeplin reserves this tag for Screen Approvals.
