We’ve put together a list of features that can help you and your team while you’re working and collaborating!

Inviting a user to a project

You can invite users to a project from the project dashboard. Click on the “Share” button on the right panel, enter the email address associated with their Zeplin account and click on the “+” button:

Once you invite a user to your project, they can publish designs, toggle between versions, add comments, view specs, code snippets, download assets, etc. as their roles allow. You can learn more about roles here: Assigning roles to workspace members

Inviting a user to a styleguide

You can invite users to a global styleguide from the right panel on the “About” page. Click on the “Share” button, enter the email address associated with their Zeplin account and click on the “+” button:

You can learn more about Styleguides here.

Sharing App URIs

You can get URIs from both desktop and Web apps. URI that links to a project can be copied from the project's Dashboard tab, right panel after you click on the “Share” button.

Web links open the project, screen, or styleguide on the Web app. App URIs open up the desktop app if it’s installed. You can learn more here: Sharing app URIs

Annotations & Comments

With Annotations, you can provide instructions that will remain pinned to a screen or a component—you can document how your designs should behave with descriptive GIFs/videos, reference product requirements, and even share API endpoints.

We collected some helpful articles about Annotations here.

You can use Comments to ask questions to your teammates or share your feedback on the design. You can eventually close the comments on your screen by resolving them. You and your teammates are welcome to have a two-way conversation!

You can add visual elements like images, and GIFs, use Markdown-formatted texts to your comments, organize them using colors, and filter by their status or colors. We explained all the details here.

Integrations

Zeplin has many integrations that will help you to facilitate communication within your team; Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Trello, Zapier, Storybook, and Visual Studio Code. You can learn details and how to set up here: Workflow integrations with Zeplin
